This policy explains what happens to information when you use Owed Map (owedmap.com).
You don't need an account and there are no forms to fill in. We don't sell information. When you search for money, you do it on official state and federal websites, not on ours.
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you request, in order to deliver the page and protect the site.
We run our own visit counter. It does not use cookies. It keeps a random visit identifier in your browser's local storage. For each visit it records the pages viewed, the site you came from, the time spent on each page, clicks on buttons and links, your IP address, your country, state and city, and your device and browser type. We use these records only to see how the site is used.
We keep visit records for 5 years and then delete them.
Official search sites have their own privacy policies. What you enter there is handled by them, not by us.
If we add forms, other analytics or advertising, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply. We don't add you to any mailing list unless you ask.
This site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Visit records are not linked to your name or email, so we can find them only if you give us the IP address you used. Residents of states such as California may have additional rights under state privacy laws; contact us to exercise them.
